Workshop on the use of Leigh Dovetail and Box Joint Jigs

Welcome to the first week of the Hardware Centre Summer Expo!

The team from Hardware Centre decided that the worldwide COVID pandemic is not going to stop us from hosting our legendary Summer Expo in 2020. With the government directives and rules regarding events limiting us on the number of customers who will be able to attend, we had to be very creative in how we are to host the event.

We decided that in this case, more is better. Why not host the Summer Expo over a period of 6 weeks instead of the 1 weekend?

Hardware Centre will host a Power Tool demonstration as well as a workshop every weekend from 7 November 2020 to 12 December 2020. For more information on the schedule of events please keep an eye out for our newsletters and visit the Calendar section on our website!

For Week 1 of our Summer Expo we will highlight the extensive 18V and 36V Cordless Woodworking range from Makita. Expert demonstrators will be available to showcase these fine tools, and to answer any questions you might have on any of the tools in the Makita stable.

Hardware Centre is also excited to host a workshop on the products of the World Renowned Leigh Industries Jigs. Leigh Industries are known throughout the world as the leader in the manufacture of Dovetail- and Finger Joint Router jigs.

Our local Leigh expert Derick Louw will showcase 2 of Leigh Industries best sellers, the TD330 Through Dovetail Jig and the B975 Beehive and Box Joint Jig. Both these jigs are suited for novice and expert alike, and will ensure that your dovetail and finger joints will be perfect every time!

The workshop times will be:

09:00 – 10:30: TD330 Through Dovetail Jig

11:00 – 12:30: B975 Beehive and Box Joint Jig.

Derick will also be available outside these times to answer any of your questions on the Leigh range of products.
