Description
This is the largest extractor in our Workshop range. The 1.5kW motor gives an airflow of 1,165m³/hr using 100mm hose. The AW153E has a single 125mm inlet and comes with a twin 100mm adaptor for connection to two machines. With its large capacity collection bag and twin 100mm hose inlets, it can easily handle most workshop machines.
The top cloth bag acts as the filter whilst the lower plastic bag collects the coarse dust and chippings. Plastic bags allow a number of bags to be filled and stored ready for bulk disposal. There are bag hooks to make changing bags easy. Castors on the base allow for easy mobility around the workshop. The AW153E is a good, very solid, no nonsense extractor.
For extraction from machines producing fine dust such as sanders, filtration performance can be upgraded with the addition of the cartridge filter. This has a large surface area so does not reduce the airflow.
Airflow: as measured in the Axminster workshop 1,165m³/hr @100mm and 1,720m³/hr @125mm.
For best results, keep the hose size to a minimum of 100mm; using a smaller diameter hose will cause the air flow to drop markedly.
N.B. This machine uses waste sacks size 785 x 1,200mm.
