TopMan’s Japanese Rebate & Grooving Combination Planes are made using traditional methods of craftsmanship bringing you closer to this beautiful craft.

The body’s of these planes are made from durable white oak wood with modern blades replacing the old style blades. The blades used in the rebate planes are double layered laminated blades ideal for super fine cuts.

Please bear in mind that every Japanese plane works on the pull stroke and in order to achieve the finest of cuts you need to practice thoroughly.
