Description
Lubricating Wax is specially formulated to lubricate and clean interior tools and machinery to increase their efficiency and keep working parts moving freely. Silicone-free, it is suitable for use on saw blades, cutter blades, machine tables, lathes and planers to increase longevity, and help to reduce rust and corrosion on all bare metal surfaces . Its special properties will also assist in the quick cleaning and easy removal of glue from veneer presses and G-clamps, as well as help to reduce resin build-up from softwood.
How to Use
PreparationÂ
Shake well before use. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from rust. Remove rust using Rust Remover.
ApplicationÂ
Apply a thin coat of Lubricating Wax using a brush or clean cotton cloth. Allow to dry before use. Re-apply as required.
Important
Ensure all working machinery is switched off and stationary before using Lubricating Wax. Allow to dry before switching equipment on.
Maintenance
Use as required to keep tools and machinery in good condition.

Applied a tiny amount to the mitre slot and table. The wood and mitre gauge were both binding a bit making it impossible to properly control the position and cut. The lubricating wax was dry and ready in less than a minute. The difference was remarkable. The wood was gliding over the table and the mitre gauge moving smoothly. It will probably need to be reapplied often, but you need so little that a 500ml tin should last ages.
