Manufactured from refined shellac dissolved in industrial alcohol. More orange in appearance than French polish.

Specifications
| Coats | For French Polishing, apply as many coats as required to build a sufficient layer of shellac For sealing wood before waxing, apply 2 liberal coats |
| Drying Time | Leave 24 hours after last coat to harden |
| Re-coating Time | 4-6 hours |
| Application Temp. | Use in a warm, dry atmosphere, ideally 15- 25 ºC |
| Coverage | 13-15 sq metres/litre |
| Maintenance | Wipe with damp cloth. Greasy or dirty surfaces should be cleaned with a mild non abrasive liquid detergent. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents. Wax polishes may be used. |
| Compatibility | Wood may be dyed with Rustins Wood Dye prior to sealing with Rustin’s Button Polish. |
