A water based treatment which neutralises rust. It stabilises the surface and forms a protective coating once dry. It seals and primes so no primer is required allowing to topcoat directly. It will form a barrier against water vapour, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Resistant to salt spray and bacterial growth.

| Re-coating Time | Rustins Rust Converter will turn any treated areas blue-black as it reacts with rust. If the area treated does not change colour, reapply after 30 minutes. Do not rinse off the first treatment. Apply a topcoat after a minimum of 3 hours. For best results, paint the same day. |
