| Coats | As a finish, apply as many coats as required to build a sufficient layer of shellac. For sealing wood before waxing, apply 2 liberal coats |
| Drying Time | 1-2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity |
| Re-coating Time | 2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. |
| Application Temp. | Use in a warm, dry atmosphere, ideally 15- 25 ºC |
| Coverage | 13-15 sq metres/litre |
| Maintenance | Wipe with damp cloth. Greasy or dirty surfaces should be cleaned with a mild non abrasive liquid detergent. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents. Wax polishes may be used. |
| Compatibility | Wood may be dyed with Rustin’s Wood Dye prior to sealing with Rustin’s Sanding Sealer. The Sanding Sealer may then be waxed |
